IT Recruitment Manager

Salary: £30k-£40 plus bonus



Overview:

 

  • The purpose of this role is to help senior management define their current and future requirements, developing fit for purpose strategies and manpower plans.
  • Be responsible for all hiring strategies with a focus on recruiting the best available, diverse tech talent and personnel with or willingness to obtain security clearances (e.g. SC, BPSS).
  • To design and implement an employer brand strategy.
  • Responsible for managing end to end recruitment process.
  • Responsible for administration of personnel, including weekly meetings, timesheets, contracts and handling contractor invoicing.
  • Liaising with contractors to determine their needs.
  • Meet personnel recruitment and placement targets.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

 


  • Provide recruitment and training support to managers.
  • Own, refine and iterate hiring processes and recruitment documentation, in line with the key areas of law surrounding recruitment and selection.
  • Liaise with line managers about vacancies, write job descriptions, advertise vacancies, identify and source candidates.
  • Undertake a variety of sourcing activities to fill current vacancies using relevant recruitment marketing tools.
  • Manage Altiatech’s recruiting platforms and online presence. e.g. Angelist, Google Hire, Indeed and LinkedIn pages.
  • Implement online recruitment and assessment tools, such as employment related testing.
  • Schedule interviews, provide feedback and make job offers.
  • Be the custodian of the candidate experience, ensuring candidates have an outstanding experience throughout the selection and on-boarding process.
  • Work closely with Line managers and the HR Manager with regards to the on-boarding of new team members.
  • Work closely with Sales managers for talent placement of personnel for customer projects.
  • Network and community building including running/attending events for hiring and university campus hiring days, as well as events to ensure Altiatech has a strong voice in the start-up ecosystem. This includes ensuring that you have the correct marketing materials to run/attend such events.
  • Create and build relationships with recruitment agencies key to our industry.
  • Create reports, monitoring and presenting KPI’s to continuously identify areas of improvement.
  • Be a strong brand ambassador for Altiatech.

Skills and Experience:


  • Experience in a wide range of recruitment methodologies.
  • Proficient in the use of social media and recruitment technologies.
  • Experienced in full cycle recruiting and employee branding.
  • Experience in IT recruitment.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple recruitment campaigns at one time.
  • Proven track record in the technology marketplace, recruiting sales and IT  professionals (in particular - engineering and developer positions).
  • High level understanding of IT, including cloud technologies, professional services, Big Data, systems integration and so on.
  • Strong understanding of the legalities surrounding recruitment and selection.
  • Good understanding of all selection methods and techniques such as interviews, assignments and psychological tests
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent research and sourcing skills, using a variety of sourcing methods.
  • Have a keen eye for spotting talent and a creative way of discovering them.
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to prioritise accordingly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driven, self-motivated, and results orientated.
  • Ability to form and maintain key relationships.
  • Critical and creative thinker with good problem solving skills.
